Hi I am Raymond Lewis chair of Psychotherapy and Counselling at the British College of Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have a great deal of interest in providing fast therapies to individuals and training throughout the world. I started in 1984 in Hypnotherapy at the Bournemouth College of Hypnotherapy under Neil French. Since that period I have had extensive training in Psychotherapy, N.L.P and business coaching and hold over 45 certificates and diploma’s in the learning fields. I would be very interested to hear your comments and interests and what you would like to have information on and what you think you would be looking for in low cost training and development. Dear Raymond
I have been struggling to fing a Hypnotherapy or N.L.P qualification that I could study via distance learning that is recognised by the BHR and the CNHC, I have over 20 years experience in Mental Health both within secondary and primary care and am now looking to move into private practice.
I am aware that although there are many courses available I would need a recognised accreditted qualification that was recognised by the aforementioned bodies and if possible have some standing with if possible the BACP – taking into account the move towards statatory regulation to practice
I wonder if you could offer some advice, as I have already paid a substantial amount of money to another training provider who I now realise is not accredditted and need to be sure that I dont make the same mistake again

Hi Nik thanks for getting in touch with us. I know that you have talked to us on the phone but I would still like to reply on our word-press. We offer training that is ‘Accredited’ by the NCP and we are registered as training providers by BACP. You have mentioned Statutory regulation, I would like to say that it may not be going through the HPC as once thought but could be going via another standards authority. It is not clear at this moment when this will go through. However if you study with us on our low cost training programme you will be able to register with the NCP and then across the any Statutory authority if it happens in the near future. So for a small investment of only £500 you can be fully ‘Accredited’ and registered at Certified level once you have completed your training with us. I hope this helps in your decision to get full ‘Accredited training from a proven college with 23 year experience in training and development. Laura thanks for the reply, it is great to get such good comments. I am new to blogging so I am not sure of what to write about. I would be happy to write about something that you are interested in, especially in the psychological fields.
